Don't miss next month's report!  We have a Mini Tournament coming up, 11 guys on Puerto Vallarta's 3 top small class boats.  The SOL, the ESPERANZA and the VIKINGO will go head to head on the 7^th of May.  This will be a tough competition.  These fast boats will need to use all of their skills to succeed in this phase of the Tournament.  Day 2 will be the STRIKE ONE against the ANTICIPATION.  This pair is the best that Puerto Vallarta has to offer for a deep-sea fishing charter.  Ross MacLean and his buddies are organizing this Tournament but the locals know that the real competition will be between the captains and crewmembers of the boats involved.  If you drop by the El Dorado Restaurant on the evening of the 8^th, you can listen in on the details of this small but serious competition between Vallarta's Best (and of course not to forget Ross and his friends). 

Who else will be fishing with Phil in May?  Well, Steve Townzen, a fly fisherman will be with Phil on the SOL on the 14th.  This is always a great experience for Phil, he is not an expert in this sport and is always anxious for more on hand advice.  Our next door neighbors, Ted and Karina Will have their family visiting and will take them out for a day on the STRIKE ONE on the 16th.  Last year's friends who met Phil at Rizos with a dead battery on a rental van are coming back, Lynda McPhee and her family are taking the LILIANA on the 18.  This party had the worst luck last year, caught nothing to speak of but still had a great time and are coming back to try again.  Cameron Jones and his friends have 3 days reserved, the first on the LILIANA to El Banco and the next 2 days on the STRIKE ONE.  Cameron told us that he and his buddies are fairly big guys and they needed boats that could handle a bit of weight.  No problem Cameron, you made the right choice.  Tom Carrazzo will be with Phil and Miguel on the Sol on the 22nd.  Bill Elliott will also be on the SOL on the 24th.  We have a Honeymoon couple on the 27th.  Sunny Carlson wanted to give her nephew and niece a gift so she booked a day for Lee and Jamie with Bruno on the Miramar.  Kyle Jud and his family and friends will fish aboard the ANTICIPATION on the 29th of May.  They are staying in Sayulita and will probably do a lot of beach fishing as well.
